This assignment requires us to visit an allocated space on campus and measure the details of the space which will then be transformed into 2D orthographic drawings. The measurements were done in a group as teamwork is vital in this assignment. The main objective of this assignment is to introduce the application of drawing conventions and calculations in the construction field. Therefore, we were required to produce 2 elevations, 2 sections, 1 plan and 1 detail drawing in this assignment.

We visited the campus and started measuring the space that my group was allocated to, which is C7. My group consists of 6 members, namely Kimberly Yong, Chang Shi Pei, Adler Kwan, Andrew Wong, Klevin Yong and I. We compiled all of the measurements on several pieces of butter paper and made sure that they tally before drafting. Moreover, we visited the campus several times to ensure that the measurements tally. Followed by, we started drafting the floorplan
After receiving feedback for my floor plan, I fixed my mistakes and decided to redraw it as I was not satisfied with the first draft. The tutorial session was enlightening as I gained more knowledge on proper drawing conventions and symbols.
Next, I produced 2 drafts for each of the elevation drawings . We had to ensure that the elevation view that we picked has sufficient details of the structure and also not too jam packed with furniture as it loses the purpose of elevation drawings.
Upon receiving feedback for my elevations, I moved on to my sections. The section drawings were pretty challenging to me as we are required to identify the material of the structure that we cut through and interpret them in our drawings. After that, I completed two detail drawings as well.

REFLECTION
In a nutshell, this assignment has taught me the essentiality of teamwork as it helps to boost productivity and problem solving in terms of completion of the assignment. I have also realized the importance of proper measuring methods as one minor mistake might make a significant change to the drawing. Moreover, I managed to exert the calculations and observations from the actual space into a series of construction drawings.
