Project 1
Diagramming Architectural Principles
In this assignment, we were given specific precedents to conduct a comprehensive analysis such as the design intentions and principles. structural system, circulation, programmes and so on. Our group consisted of 5 members who comprised of Shi Pei, Adler Kwan, Yan Bin, Royine and I. We were given COCO Art Villas Costa Rica, which is a resort. Our foundings were compiled into diagrams and models eventually.
Design Intention
To build with simple solutions and local materials which translates to a luxurious but at the same time adventurous living experience of the Costa Rican jungle.

Initial Discussion & Design Analysis
Initially, we did research on COCO Villa to acquire in depth information about the villa.We also delegated the tasks and came up with ideas for the initial diagrams and models.

Drafting
We produced diagrams and orthographic drawings based on the given structure. Several drafts were then further refined to respond to the design and functionality more.

Model Making
After the diagrams are confirmed , we proceeded to making models that represent our diagrams well.

Finalization
After we were dine with out own tasks, we were required to compile them onto slides and presentation boards

Reflection
In conclusion, I managed to learn the techniques of diagramming and ensuring that the diagrams reflect my intentions well. I'm glad to have my team members to provide guidance and support to me whenever I needed it. I have also acknowledged the importance of teamwork and communication especially when everyone's working remotely.
